We had the opportunity to be on the Media Photo Staff of Next Big Nashville, and we couldn't have had a better time. NBN is a 4 day long celebration of Music, and the Digital Arts of Nashville. We were assigned events to cover, and bands to shoot. This week was full of what makes this city great, and we are happy that we had the chance to capture some of what went down!
Thursday night was the kick off of the fest, and we had 4 bands to shoot, at 4 different venues. Live On The Green was our first stop, which is outside in Public Square Park, and is sponsored by a local radio station Lightning 100. Sixpence None The Richer was the band we were assigned to shoot.
Next up was Parachute Musical at the Rutledge. We were happy that we were chosen to shoot them, since the guys are friends of ours; and they did what they do best!
We then jumped on over to the Mercy Lounge, and then over to The 5 Spot were the Dozen Dimes laid it down, all decked out in blue.
Friday night we went to the EventBrite Factory Party. Inside an open warehouse; vendors, t-shirt makers, beer drinkers, music lovers, and bands, all piled in for an great night. Nashville's own The Features headlined the evening, and didnt disappoint.
Saturday we welcomed in the show of all shows. New York's Peelander-Z brought costumes, signs, and punk rock, to the Exit In, assuring everyone there that it was something that will be hard to forget. The show of the fest for sure.
Our last show of the week was Mikky Ekko at 12th and Porter. EPIC
